Roger Rees Student Reporter Award

Selected as the 2025–2026 Roger Rees Awards Student Reporter, covering one of the region’s premier celebrations of high school musical theater for BroadwayWorld. Chosen by BroadwayWorld Editor-in-Chief Nicole Rosky, I interviewed nominees, covered the awards and red carpet, and co-hosted the online pre-show. The role also placed me in contention for the national Jimmy Awards Student Reporter Search.

This video played a significant role in helping me earn recognition at the Roger Rees Awards and ultimately allowed me to become a student reporter for BroadwayWorld, where I had the incredible opportunity to cover the red carpet for Schmigadoon! on Broadway. This experience gave me the chance to combine my passion for theater, journalism, and performance while representing student voices in the Broadway community.

Broadway Across the Bay

Created by Stephen DeAngelis, Broadway Across the Bay is a special live musical fundraiser presented by HEARTS Port Washington (HEARTS PW) on Long Island, featuring Broadway stars performing in concert to support local arts education and programs. During the event, I interview the performers and create social media content for the nonprofit HEARTS.
